Tulsa, Okla., June 26, 2019 — Global Holdings LLC, a leading payment processor announced today that the company has hired John Filby as President and CEO. In his new role, Filby will spearhead Global’s mission and continue to build on the company’s long history of market leadership. He will also join the Board of Directors.
Filby brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in the FinTech sector to Global. “His significant experience in software and payments, focused on the financial services market, made John the ideal candidate to lead Global through its next phase of growth,” said John Beauclair of New State Capital Partners. “In addition to such relevant experience, John also has a proven track record of bringing vision and teamwork together to successfully scale technology businesses.”
Prior to Global, Filby served as President of the Financial Services Segment at Deluxe Corporation (NYSE: DLX) where he led several FinTech acquisitions that helped transform a century-old check-based business into a contemporary, technology-based business.
Prior to Deluxe, Filby served as President of the Risk & Compliance Division at Fiserv Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), President and CEO of ISD Corporation, a venture-backed payment processor acquired by ACI Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACIW), and President and CEO of eCash Technologies, Inc., an early cryptocurrency startup acquired by Infospace, Inc., now Blucora, Inc. (NASDAQ:BCOR).
