Michael Aguilling

Mr. Aguiling was previously Chief Technology Officer of Cerberus Technology Solutions, a subsidiary of Cerberus focused exclusively on leveraging emerging technology, data, and advanced analytics to drive business transformations. In this role, Mr. Aguiling leads Technology Strategy, Architecture, Cyber Security, and Data Operations, as part of a broad set of responsibilities aimed at creating value for clients via technology business development and partnerships to drive modernization and transformation with a focus on data commercialization.
 
Prior to joining Cerberus in 2018, Mr. Aguiling was Chief Technology Officer of Regulatory DataCorp, a portfolio company of Vista Equity Partners, where he was responsible for building an AI program primarily concentrated on the compliance data space. He also vetted investment opportunities for the firm in the technology and software investment arenas. This resulted in RDC’s eventual sale to Moody’s BVD division. Under his leadership, RDC increased data revenues from the likes of Google, Facebook ING & ABN Amro. He also catalyzed the focus on UK’s challenger banks as clients of RDC’s data platform.
From 2005 to 2017, Mr. Aguiling was Managing Director, CTO of JPMorgan Intelligent Solutions, a unit of JPMorgan Chase & Co. created to solve business problems and provide strategic insights through data mining, analytics, and modeling. This business unit consolidated both technology and skills across the bank to enable accelerated data commercialization and tech business development. 
 
Mr. Aguiling has served on various executive and advisory boards for enterprise technology companies, including Hortonworks, Cloudera, RedHat and Amazon Web Services. Most recently, Mr. Aguiling has joined the Advisory Board of UCLA’s Data Theory curriculum helping intersect industry with University connecting Deep Learning Theory students to real data & projects.
