Rob Merrick

Since co-founding Global in 2003, Rob Merrick has continued to play a key role in shaping the company. As Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, he offers industry insights and direction to our sales and business development teams. 

His passion for financial technology dates back to his early experience as a Program Manager for FSV Payments, an industry leading prepaid card processor that was acquired by US Bank (NYSE:USB). Following FSV, Rob co-founded Global Technology Partners (GTP), a prepaid card processor primarily focused on the African market. At GTP Rob was responsible for developing and managing client and banking relationships. Rob also co-founded ShipMoney, a provider of payment solutions for maritime companies across the globe.

Rob currently serves on the AFCC advisory board, providing guidance to the debt settlement industry.  He also serves as a Board member of GTP and ShipMoney.

A native Tulsan, Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa where he also played on the varsity tennis team. When not at work or spending time with his wife and 3 daughters, you can often find him sitting in with bands behind a drum set or at the local auto show spending time with other car enthusiasts.
